Type of soil: gravel and sand, Vinification: Manual harvesting, Fermentation: 3 weeks. The AOC Lalande de Pomerol is located in the Libournais region, about 30 km east of Bordeaux. It is separated from Pomerol by the Barbanne river. It is located in two municipalities: Lalande de Pomerol and Néac. Close to the confluence of the Isle and the Dordogne, it is located less than 100 km west of the Atlantic Ocean.
Tasting
Intense red colour. Nose of red fruits, fine and elegant. Supple mouth, aromas of fruits and spices. Harmonious wine, with a good structure. To be enjoyed with sautéed lamb, grilled rib steak, and of course all cheeses. Serve at room temperature at 18°C.
